Tell us the job

Have a software subscription you'd rather own?

Tell us the job. We'll explore whether it can become a box. Share what you're paying for, what it does for you, and what you want the hardware to do — we'll come back with an honest answer, not a sales pitch.

1

Tell us the job

Software name, what you use it for, what it costs you, how many people or devices use it.

2

We assess it honestly

We look at whether the job can run locally on dedicated hardware. If it can't, we'll say so — no wasted time.

3

We propose the box

If it can, you get a concept, a spec and a fixed price. You own the device; the monthly bill stops.

Common questions

Before you send it over.

What kinds of software can become hardware?

Tools that perform one simple, repetitive job locally — monitoring, dashboards, alerts, counters, attendance, inventory, logging, automation and small business tools. We assess each submission honestly; not every SaaS can or should become a box.

What does it cost to explore an idea?

Nothing. Tell us the job and we'll give you an honest feasibility assessment. Only if we build the hardware is there a cost, quoted upfront before anything starts.

How long does a custom build take?

Depends on the job. Simple devices can go from concept to prototype in a few weeks. Firmware-heavy products take longer. We'll give you a timeline with the quote.

Do the devices need the internet?

No. CktHub devices are designed for local operation — data stays on the device or your network. Internet is optional, and only where a specific feature genuinely needs it.

What if hardware doesn't make sense for my case?

We'll tell you. Sometimes software genuinely is the right answer — we'd rather lose a project than sell you something that doesn't fit. That honesty is why the business works.
