PCB design services, from schematic to production files.

We design printed circuit boards in Pune for products that have to be built, not just drawn: schematics, component choices and layouts checked against the fabrication and assembly process that will make them.

What our PCB design service covers

PCB design turns a circuit idea into the files a fabricator and an assembly line can build from. Our design work covers:

  • Schematic capture — the circuit drawn, annotated and reviewed, with every part tied to a real manufacturer part number (MPN).
  • Component selection — parts chosen for availability and assembly as well as specification. We check footprints against parts we place every day on our own line.
  • Layout and routing — 2, 4 or 6-layer boards, placement for assembly and test access, and routing for power, high-speed and RF where the design needs it.
  • Design-for-manufacture review — clearances, pad and paste geometry, panelisation and fiducials checked before release.
  • Production files — Gerbers (with paste layers), a BOM with designator, value, footprint, MPN and quantity, and a pick-and-place (centroid) file, plus an assembly drawing.

How a PCB design project runs

  1. RequirementsWhat the board must do, fit and cost
  2. SchematicCircuit, parts and MPNs
  3. LayoutPlacement, stack-up, routing
  4. DFM reviewChecked against fab & assembly
  5. ReleaseGerbers, BOM, centroid

Each stage ends with a review with you before the next begins, so changes stay cheap. Because the same team assembles boards, the DFM review is done against a real process rather than a generic checklist.

Why design and manufacture with the same team

When one company designs a board and another builds it, problems surface late: a footprint that doesn't match the reel, a part that isn't available, paste apertures that bridge. Designing at CktHub means:

  • Footprints and paste layers are checked against the parts and stencils we actually use.
  • BOM lines are matched against parts we stock or can source; you see substitutions before layout is frozen.
  • The design can go straight to PCB manufacturing and assembly without a second vendor re-checking the files.

ESP32 and embedded designs

Much of our design work is built around ESP32 and ESP32-S3 microcontrollers: Wi-Fi and Bluetooth devices, battery-powered sensors and USB-connected tools. We also write and flash firmware for those designs, so the board is delivered working rather than as bare hardware. See electronic product development.

What to send us

  • A short description of what the board does, where it will be used and how many you expect to build.
  • Any existing schematic, block diagram, reference design or part list.
  • Mechanical limits: board outline, mounting holes, connector positions, enclosure.
  • Power source (USB, battery, mains adapter) and any certification or environmental needs.

If you already have a design in KiCad, Altium, EasyEDA or Eagle, we can review it rather than start over.

Frequently asked questions

Does CktHub provide PCB design services?

Yes. CktHub designs PCBs in-house in Pune, from schematic capture and component selection to 2, 4 or 6-layer layout and production files.

What files do I receive at the end of a PCB design project?

You receive Gerbers (with paste layers), a BOM with designator, value, footprint, MPN and quantity, and a pick-and-place (centroid) file, so the board can be fabricated and assembled by CktHub or by any other manufacturer.

Can you review or fix an existing PCB design?

Yes. Send the design files (KiCad, Altium, EasyEDA or Eagle) or Gerbers and we will review them for manufacturability and assembly issues.

Can the same team manufacture and assemble the board?

Yes. Designs can go directly to PCB manufacturing and PCB assembly at CktHub.
